2.1-Inch IPS Secondary System Monitor
I recently added the 2.1-Inch IPS Secondary System Monitor to my custom workstation to see if a dedicated hardware readout was worth the desk space. After testing it across several demanding rendering tasks and gaming sessions, I found it to be a surprisingly polished utility for any enthusiast's setup.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality is impressive, featuring a solid CNC aluminum alloy shell that feels premium and durable enough for long-term desk use. The 480x480 IPS panel delivers sharp, vivid visuals that remain readable from almost any angle, ensuring your hardware stats are always clear at a glance. Even with a water-cooled design approach, the unit stays impressively cool under a maximum power draw of just 1.6W.
Day-to-Day Experience
Installation was straightforward thanks to the included 9-pin USB multiplier, making integration with existing internal headers a breeze. Once connected, AIDA64 recognized the display immediately, allowing me to customize my CPU, GPU, and RAM readouts within minutes. It has been a reliable companion for tracking thermal performance during intense gaming sessions without ever needing a second thought.
This screen is perfect for PC gamers and system builders who want a clean, aesthetic way to keep an eye on their hardware vitals without cluttering their main monitor.
Final Thoughts
With an exceptional 4.98/5 rating, this secondary monitor stands out as a high-quality functional upgrade for any enthusiast. At $89.00, it provides a sophisticated balance of form and function that justifies the investment for a truly complete gaming experience.
