9-in-1 USB-C Hub with M.2 SSD Enclosure
I spent two weeks testing the 9-in-1 USB-C Hub with M.2 SSD Enclosure to see if it could actually serve as a primary hub for my creative workstation. By combining a high-speed SSD slot with essential connectivity like HDMI and 100W PD charging, this device aims to replace the multiple adapters currently cluttering my desk.
Performance & Build Quality
The unit features a robust aluminum construction that feels premium and dissipates heat effectively during heavy file transfers. It is remarkably compact at 14cm wide, yet it feels sturdy enough to survive being tossed into a laptop bag on a daily basis. The integrated M.2 slot fits both NVMe and SATA drives securely, providing a seamless bridge between external storage and your primary machine.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the hub was a plug-and-play experience, working immediately with both my MacBook and Windows laptop without requiring additional drivers. The 100W power delivery is a standout feature, allowing me to charge my laptop while simultaneously driving a 4K display and accessing high-speed files from the internal SSD. The workflow is incredibly smooth, and having all those connections handled by a single cable significantly simplified my cable management.
This is the perfect upgrade for photographers, video editors, or office power-users who want to save space without sacrificing performance or connectivity.
Final Thoughts
With an impressive 4.7 out of 5 rating, this hub is a rare accessory that truly earns its place on your desk. Given the $99.00 price tag, it offers excellent utility for anyone looking to bridge the gap between portable storage and desktop-level connectivity.
